How to disable those annoying email "Notitication" alerts?

I find that those alerts often disrupt other things I am doing. Is there anyway to turn them off?

Which email notification alert? Do you mean the got new email alert? or the sent text message alert? Both can be turned off.

For the new email alert, it's just a sound setting on the profile. So you can edit your profile and turn off or down the volume.

For the sent text message alert, it's under options on that account.

Thanks for your reply. My MDA was popping up a notification on the Today screen every time there were new email messages. I found the setting finally under the global Sounds and Notifications settings. I just had to uncheck the text notification for new email events.
