Text entry on Dash - quirk or problem?

Has anyone else had the problem on the Dash that when you are entering text in a text block, the first press of a key is not recorded? For example, when browsing the Internet and coming to a page that requires you to sign in, when I press the first letter of my ID, no letter appears. I have to press it again. When I drop to the password box the same thing happens. I have noticed the same thing happening if I go to send a text message. The first time I press a key in any field, nothing happens. Anyone else?

I've seen that too... I think I've noticed that with other buttons as well. Very often it as if the first press "doesn't take".

I have seen that from time to time on other devices as well.

You have to select the text box before you can type into it. So, once you highlight it, you then have to select it, and then you can type. Typically, the action key is used, however it would be my guess that the first key you're talking about is being used for the selection process.

Okay, sounds logical. I just never remembered having to do that on my SDA.
