What happened to MatrixM?

I haven't checked that site out in centuries, but it seems to have disappeared. Anyone know what's up?

They used to be a HUGE ringtone/game/wallpaper etc. type site, and it seems they've just disappeared. Googling for answers only comes up with people who have the same question as I do; no one knows what happened. Matrixm rocked because it was one of the first real early on to make it easy to upload your own stuff, with basic editing online (say cropping a pic or chopping down a ringtone you're making), and then sending it to you via SMS, giving you a locker of downloads you could access on the phone, etc.

Interesting. It's odd that they would just pack it in. Especially if they had any following at all. I would imagine that they would be bought up quickly as it's a fast growing market.
