ok i'm not real good w/ video but i have some .avi's i want to get onto my dash... what's the best program to convert them to a reasonable size (would be nice to fill the screen) and once i get them converted, what's the SP program i should use to play them? built-in WMP or something like coreplayer?

Be gentle. Thanks!

Rocco posted a pretty detailed guide on how to do video on the Smartphone. You can check it out here. (http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8665) Let us know if that ansers all your questions.

The first guide in Rocco's post is the way to go. However, if you have a Q/Dash/320/607/2125/3125, you should select "Pocket PC" instead of "Smartphone", simply because the resolution for the "Smartphone" profile in PocketDivxEncoder is 220x178, whereas the "PPC" profile uses 320x240, which is the native resolution of those devices.
