In particular, all software titles (with the exception of FlexWallet, which was acquired by WebIS, Inc. in January 2006) as well as all the other assets previously owned and developed by Two Peaks Software Solutions are now fully owned by iambic, Inc. Since the beginning, iambic has strived to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of its many software users and the industry as a whole. We adhere to the strictest standards, focus on research and development, create the most comprehensive and intuitive applications possible, and work on constantly improving the products within our portfolio. With that in mind, we are now in the process of updating the titles acquired from Two Peaks, including: Personal Vehicle Manager, TravelTalk, EzQuote, Personal Health &amp; Diet Manager and TripTracker. These programs will be available for download and purchase from the iambic website within a few weeks."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/twopeakshome.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br />Two Peaks was one of the best Windows Mobile development companies that ever existed, so I was disappointed when the founder, Mel Sampat, went to work for Microsoft. But hey, I can certainly understand the appeal of a regular paycheque. ;-) FlexWallet, my #1 favourite application of all time on Windows Mobile, got sold to WebIS. I know Alex personally and knew he'd do a good job with it. Today, the other shoe dropped, with Iambic acquiring the remaining pieces of Two Peaks. I've never used an Iambic product before, so I can't say how this will play out - but I hope they continue to keep the quality of the products high, just like Two Peaks did.

Seems like the era of the small developer in WM is coming to a close. :(

iambic looks like more of a software reseller than a developer. :?

I hope not as well. It's the little guys that seem to come up with the hot new ideas. :)

Their big application is Agendus for the Palm.. They have a kind of "PI vs. AF -Pocket Pc Reference) going on in the Palm World against DateBk.
It appears they are dabbling in reselling, and now have acquired some new titles on the WM side...

Yeah until they get swallowed up.

Well, No plans to sell Birdsoft anyway... eXtreme Agenda and All-In are taking off and/or doing quite well.. Gotta love the Q... We just need a couple more very mainstream WM SP's and more little guys will flock back... I just need to get a headstart before they do!!

(Oh, and a QVGA Smartphone version of All-In is out, for all those readers that missed it in the announcements... ;) )
