So, I'm at a loose end for a week (maybe a little longer) having just finished the new version of Sniper.

I thought maybe I'd write a small utility (freeware) and then realized I have no idea what would really be a useful one.

So, I'm canvasing for ideas.

If you've got an idea for a utility that you'd really like to see please post

A professional flash card learning software would be greatly appreciated.
There is nothing to learn in flashcard mode except Paragon SlovoEd dictionary with very limited functionality

Hi,

thanks for answering, but all of the suggestions were taken weeks ago. I actually went on to build a PlayList Manager for Windows Media Player to allow people to create/edit/manage their playlists without the need for a PC. It was released as *freeware* :)

You can read about it here and get the software here:-

PS I am not sure what you meant by FLASH CARD learning software?

Basicly you import information (text or excel file or any kind of database)
and then basicly it displays you a stem word. You click (right or wrong) depending on how you answered, and then it shows you right answer.
Software is keeping some success stats as well.
Basicly it helps you learn anything you need to learn in a very short period of time (words, definitions, ideas, etc.)

Sounds interesting. Do you have any links to some exisiting software that I could look at for more details?

Ah I see! I was confused by the use of Flash Cards ;)

I assumed you were talking about Compact Flash cards and couldn't quite understand what you were getting at.

Doh!
