imate sp5m and gprs problems

i own a sony ericcson s 600i and the gprs and mobile internet work perfect on it, it's very reliable and fast, with my sp5m---if i'm lucky it'l work 1 out of 10 tries, the settings are definetely correct ( operator settings), i have this same problem with my imate kjam. can anyone shed light on this for me? what could i be doing wrong-there is not a memory issue, i make sure many tasks aren;t running at one time. thanks alot:)

That's weird. I never have a problem.

If everything works fine in your SE, then I don't imagine it's a carrier issue. I can't see it being a WinMo issue, since it's not something others are having. Have you hard reset your device recently? It's not a nice option, but perhaps it just needs a fresh start. :?

Just out of curiosity, are you using any beta programs? An older Autokeylock beta, for instance, or something like photocontacts or anything else that might be using TAPI?

What error do you get when it doesn't work? How doesnt' it work?
