I have searched and searched the internet to try and find a solution to my problem, but apperently, there isnt one. I am trying to unlcok my 2125 and have tried the registry edits suggested in other parts of this forum. I have tried to program SDA-unlock also to no avail. No where on the net explains this and if anyone has expierience I would love to hear it.

The 2125 is not application locked.

Application unlock? As onlydarksets says, it's already unlocked. Are you having problems with an application?

yea, Whenever I try to run pocketnes it tells me that i cannot because the application is not digitally signed. It's done it on a few other programs as well.

I just read in a hacker's mag this weekend about 10 hacks for Smartphones and the first of them was how to unlock your smartphones application lock. It was a registry hack and it gave very exacting step by step on how to do it.
The other 9 hacks were for everything from changing your application arrangemnt in Start menu to colors and naming.

Anyhow...if this sounds like it is something you want to check out, look for Blacklisted411 at local Tower Records or Borders bookstores. Here's the site for the mag:

Or, just check out this post in our forums: http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9616

The 2125 is application unlocked. However, it does have a basic level of lock that all devices do. This doesn't usually cause a problem. Basically, this lock prevents applications from accessing a certian part of the phone that handles the low level controls. if a virus was to hit Windows Mobile, you would be at a greater risk. Just so you know.
