.Mac email problems on a 2125

Hi,

Is anyone else using a 2125 (or one of its cousins) to access .mac mail using imap4? I have for quite awhile and now note that about half the time I get the "unable to connect" message asking me to check the login information. The login information is of course correct since it works fine about half the time.

There is really nothing else notable about the device, the service or configuration. I've deleted and restored the account, reset the device, turned on/off, everything. Any thoughts??? I'm baffled...

Perhaps the .Mac service is overloaded? Or DNS issues? Did you try our recent tip on swapping your phones DNS settings? You might want to.

Thanks for the tips but I don't think .mac is overloaded as I can get in 100% of the time from a variety of other devices. DNS changes had no effect. This one has me stumped.
