What ever happened to the Cingular 3125?

Lots of talk for a while there, about the HTC StarTrk coming to Cingular.

Was it all rumor, or still to come?

It's scheduled for a mid September release. Nothings changed. So hold on, there's not much longer to go.


Some other mobile sites guessed that it would be out in August, but Rocco's source has always told us September. And it looks to be right. 8)

The only 2 problems I have with my 2125 are:

1. No QWERTY, but gave that up for size, and
2. I miss a good flip phone.

The 3125 should be released after the Motorola V3i. The V3i is slated for a September 6th release date so expect the 3125 to be released a week or two after, that is if it passes all of the quality controll tests. It should be noted that there have been problems with this device on the Cingular network, which is why it wasn't released earlier. I'm not sure if that means there will be problems when it is released or if it just means when they do release it they will finally get it right. Here's hoping I wont have the sticky key problems that I have constantly on my 2125 :(
