I wonder what's going to happen to splashblog? Will it continue to operate?

I'm a big fan of the CONCEPT of this app. But I use WordPress. I may need to switch back to MovableType....which begs the question...does this work with MovableType as well?

I haven't used my SplashBlog in a long time. It was a great idea, but I think it needed a little work to make it easier. I would like to see an update to it. But I don't expect that to happen anytime soon.

I havn't used Splashblog much either. It's a nice app, but I only had 2 friends using it (Palm users  ). And they stopped updating pics. If no one I know is using it...what's the use? Especially when there are other widely used services like Flickr.

I currently have a WordPress personal blog site (not updated that much...but hopefully that will change soon). Thanks to a cool plugin...I now have Flickr integration and will pay to upgrade to a pro account.

I can then email pics to my flickr account which in turn updates my personal page. I can also blog via email using flickr as I middle man.

But I would still like to Blog "from the road".

If the TypePad app works with MT...I would consider switching...but right now, I'm enjoying playing with the WordPress Plugins.

I use Typepad for my personal blog and have it also doubling for my business webpage as well.

After fooling around with this app for a few days now, I like the concept quite a bit. But, usability-wise, I am struggling to get the hang of the mobile app.

This coming from a guy who loves the 'challenges' inherent in the windows mobile operating system. Maybe I'm just a being a big whinny baby and should be happy that at least they're focusing on the mobile user like this.

Personally im a huge fan of Textpattern but like all blogging/cms software the main downfall for mobile blogging is not in the software, but the lack of a QWERTY keypad on our phones. I liked the idea of Splashblog, and Ray is a really nice guy (one of the programmers, we both live in Portland) but I would love to do more than just upload pictures. I'm a talker ;)
