I have been hoping this free utility would come out for WM5 and it finally has. Having used it on my WM2003 devices I really missed it. It's actually two utilities for freeing up memory. Give it a try.

Do you really find this useful on WinMo5? I find it handles and releases memory much better than before.

Good point, but after I run these a lot of memory is freed up.

I understand CloseApps but When do you run hibernate? What exactly does it do or do differntly than Close Apps? Why is it called Hibernate?

I run closeapps, then I run hibernate. Hibernate always frees up another .5 k or so.
