Got a call today and needed to look up a number... couldn't remember the name or company but was going to find the contact by a keyword search. Wha...? Where's the "find" utility, like I had on my previous PPC's? Am I missing something here? Any good programs or plug-ins that can do this? I'm not trying to turn my smartphone into a Pocket PC again, but come on, this was a good feature..no?

Take a look at SmartphoneFind (http://www.syncdata.it/sphfind.html) :)

Thanks, this is exactly like what I'm looking for. Installed the trial on my Cingular 2125 ok, but it can't find anything I enter in the "Find" field (of things I know are there)... Could this be a WM5 issue??

It works for me on my 2125 except it doesn't find SMS messages.

Really? It definately doesn't work on any type of search I do. It wouldn't be locked as long as it's unregistered and in "trial version" mode? That wouldn'y make sense...

No in fact I just installed it and was using it in trial version mode and other than the SMS issue it worked fine.

OK, uninstalled and reinstalled with desktop installer this time. Now it seems to work great! This one's a keeper!

Great! It's definitely a handy tool.
