I have the T-Mobile SDA and have no problems using activesync 4.1.
However, Windows Media Player refuses to recognize my phone when plugged in, thus preventing me from transferring my media files to the phone. I've searched the web and found other users with this issue, but with no solution.

Anyone have any ideas how to get WMP to recognize the device?? I update my media player and codecs too.

Thanks

Did you turn on the Media Sync in Active Sync? You ned to turn that on and run the setup for it before WMP will see the device. :)

I checked the "media" option in the Activesync setup. When I sync it has a link next to media to "complete the setup". If I click on that option it tells me I need to establish a partnership with a media compatible device with a storage card larger than 32MB ( I have a 1GB mini-SD card). When I try to establish the partnership it opens my Windows Media Player to the sync screen but cannot register any device.
Refreshing the player doesn't help, it just does not see my phone connected.
