Is there no end to the permutations of screens and Pocket PC / Smartphone variations? Probably not."</i> <br /><br /> <img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Kris-Apr06-Emulator.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />Now that the QVGA landscape emulator has been released by Microsoft, we can hope that we will have more Moto Q friendly applications at launch time. ;-) According to John Kennedy the upcoming <a href="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10280">MEDC 2006</a> will have a session to help the developers understand the finer points of writing applications that can adjust to multiple resolutions. This conference looks interesting. I am a developer using the Moto Q to develop some horizontal and verticle business apps and getting tips on how to handle both protrait and landscape forms in one app would be very useful.

Thanks for the post! :D

I'm sure there will be many apps out there by 2050 when the Q is released!

Thanks for the post! :D

Glad that we could help.

BTW, you should update your avatar from the i600 to the Q. ;-) And please don't tell me that you are using the i600 as the avatar because the i600 is more stable than the Q.

Just being careful...NDA restrictions...etc.

I think you will find the Q is going to be worth waiting for.
