The T-Mobile SDA can be picked up for just $30. You'll have to sign a contract, but that's a small price to pay for a $30 Smartphone.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20060403-TMoAmazon.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />There are 2 rebates, one form <a href="http://g-images.amazon.com/images/G/01/00/10/00/17/42/27/100017422737.pdf">Amazon</a> for $150 and the other from <a href="http://g-images.amazon.com/images/G/01/00/10/00/17/51/99/100017519997.pdf">T-Mobile</a> for $50. The T-Mobile rebate expires at the end of April, and the Amazon rebate expires April 5th - That's Wednesday. So if you're in the market for a phone, and you want to save a bundle, you should consider T-Mobile's SDA. Just remember to act fast. ;)

Well, for $30, I know which I would pick. ;)

Seriously, it all depends on what you are looking for. Obviously, this phone doesn't have a keyboard so text entry isn't going to be as quick and easy as a BlackBerry. So if you're doing a lot of messaging, I would wait and look a the Q. ;) I know, I know, it's not one of the phones you mentioned, but it's Windows MObile. :D

Unless you're talking about the Verizon CDMA Q, you won't be seeing it on T-Mobile any time soon. You'll be lucky to see the GSM Q by the end of the year.

Yes, I am. It's the only real competition for the BB at this point - and it's not even out yet. But this is getting way off topic....

This model must be selling like a dog. Next time put in a keyboard.

Actually, it's selling very well. It's currently listed as number 5 on Amazon's list of top selling cellphones. That's across all carriers and all currently available phones that are sold on Amazon. I think you over estimate the market for a phone with a keyboard. ;)

You can see for yourself at this link: Amazon Top Selling Phones (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&tag=smartphonetho-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&path=tg%2Fnew-for-you%2Ftop-sellers%2F-%2Fwireless%2F301187%2Fref%3Dpd_ts_tb_h)

Four RAZRs above the SDA and the SDA is in the sixth spot now.

Whoa, wait a minute. Let's put it where it really belongs and that's phone/pda group here:

It's number 1 here and and it beats out all Treo 650's, the Treo 700w, all Blackberries, and the Ipaq. It even whooped up on its brother the MDA. Yea, I think it's selling. And to think they are giving away the SP5M (which is almost identical) right here on this site. But if we don't win - 30clams ain't too shabby. Life is good :)

Hey! Good call. I never even looked at it that way. So either way you slice this, it's one hot phone!
