I wanted to get my own root certificate installed in my Cingular 2125 without jumping through the (Microsoft-required) hoops.
So I Explored the 2125 filesystem, copied the certificate (DER encoded not Base-64) to it, then on the phone I tried to "run" the certificate. When asked what program I wanted to associate, I browsed to \windows\certinst.exe, and now it's in there.
