Hello,

Does anyone know how to place an existing partnership into a new phone. I destroyed my Samsung I600 and just got a replacement. Now it says I have to create a new partnership and redo all of my setting and software.

Can anyone help me?

There's not much you can do. The partnership is the least of your worries. It's pretty easy to create a new one. It's intalling all the software that will hurt the most. Unfortunately, there are no good backup options for WinMo5 devices. :(

That's no bueno...I was always under the impression that phones and partnerships were interchangeable, like Palm and their profiles. Oh well, thanks for the heads up.

I know you know the i600 isn't WM5.

Fair enough, but my statement is still valid. There are no good backup solutions for WinMo 2003 or 2002 (depending if your device was upgraded or not.) That said, Sprite backup does an OK job on that version. ;)

Its good to have Sprite since they have the upgrade mode feature which allows you restore your entire system to a different device. but it does not support restore across different OS ( WM2003 to WM5) :D

I always start over fresh when I upgrade a ROM anyway. Clear out all the dead wood.

But the Sprite Backup saved a lot time though, besides think about if you are on the go. 8O

Right but on the go isn't a ROM upgrade.

You r right bro, just recalled the software I used more often when I cant reach a PC. Before I had Sprite, there was a quite big number of cabs taking my SD card place, now only some backup files, besides I dont have to install them and license them. Cheers/ 8)
