Possible to change prefered roaming provider on 2125?

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that it could be done on a 5600, but can't find it.

Anyone know if there's a way to change the prefered roaming order for providers on a 2125 phone?

I have a cingular phone, and work in a building with iWireless (tmobile affiliate) repeaters throughout. If I can pick up the right version of the i wireless signal, i get full signal, but first the phone goes to cingular, then to a different lo signal i wireless, then to i wireless. (and it goes WAY down on the preferred roaming list to get to iwireless at all, IIRC).

Often my phone spends lots of time searching for signal, when there is a perfectly good 5 bar signal it could pick up. :(

I thought I had more options there on my 5600!

On my 2125, the only option I have under networks/menu is Find a new network.

Any idea how to enable the other functionality?

Interesting.... Perhaps the rest of the menu options aren't available when the phone is locked to a carrier. :?

I've already simunlocked my phone, so I'm thinking it must be a simple registry key or such that cingular changed to hide the options.

Jerry and I have run a registry compare between our phones, and we didn't see anything like this. Not sure why you don't see them. :?

Sorry, I should have clarified that. Yes, he has the 2125 hump phone.

My Cingular 2125 is the same. There seems to be noplace to change this at least in a menu.
