I would like to start off by saying that the senario that I will describe
may be odd, but it is what I am dealing with.
I work at two companies (day job and home business). Both offices have
their own Domain Networks. I have a PC at each office. I would like my
contacts and calender to be in sync between both PC's (email is not
important as they pertain to the individual jobs). For years, I have been
using either a PocketPC or a SmartPhone to sync my data between the two PCs.
It has worked flawlessly. But now I have begun to use Server activesync
with my Home Business domain network (SBS 2003). It works great! I love it! But now I can't plug my SmartPhone into my PC at my day job and sync my contacts and calender. It now just uses that as a passthru connection to my Home Domain.
I know I can just not do Server ActiveSync and go back to standard USB cable syncing and it will all work fine. But I would like to know if there is any way I can continue to Server ActiveSync to my Home Office Domain and USB cable sync to my PST on of my work PC on my Work Domain.
Any input at all would be great, even if it is only questions as to clarifiy
the senario.
