If that doesn't get you excited, maybe the built-in equalizer might. No? Ok, what about full support for MP3, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC and WAV. Pocket Player appears to be loaded with cool features. I'm going to download it now and give it a try. Anyone else looking to up the power of Media Player?

How was it?

I have been using this program on my PPC on a regular basis and love it. I tried on Smartphone and like it.

Not sure, if I should be disclosing it here or not, if this is not "legal", mods, please feel free to edit this info. I tried my registration code that I had recd for PPC on Smartphone version and it works!! So for the price of one, I can now run this great software on both smartphone and PPC. WoW!!

How was it?

Well, I installed it but when I went to use it, it says that the trial has expired and I need to register before I can continue. :( I guess I need to talk to their support guys.

Just a follow up to this - The conduits people know of this problem and are working on a solution. I have an early beta of the fix, and it works like a charm. I'm really impressed with Pocket Player - it's truly amazing how much better the music sounds with an equalizer.

Pocket Player 2.72 has been released, with all bug reports in 2.7 fixed, including some critical lock-up reports. Further improvements to visualization speed, album artwork, and tag browsing has been implemented. A new Play/Pause/Hold button has been added. Version 2.72 also fixes time-out problems on Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone.

It's available from the Pocket Player website (http://www.conduits.com/products/player). Thanks again!

and i was sooo hoping that the visualization thing would be in the smartphone version... but then again, that would just make the phone crawl like a turtle... oh well... ^_^

Greetings all,

We have released version 3.0 of Pocket Player, as mentioned in this thread (http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=77787).

ditch_azeroth: Visualizations have always been supported on Smartphone. The default key to toggle them is '3', though we have now have it on the Menu too.
