Why February 12th? Easy, Virtual Earth servers will be switched over to a new interface causing the old clients to stop working. The latest version of Virtual Earth Mobile supports this new interface and a whole bunch of other new features like: Driving Directions using MSN Mobile website, a WiFi locator, asynchronous loading, and greater zoom levels. :D
