Do I have the first defective SP5 joystick?

Well, it's finally happened. The joystick on my SP5 isn't registering "right" presses half the time. The one on my SP3 before it went wrong after a similar amount of time, but I was rather hoping the newer ones would be better quality. Sadly not.

Anyone else's broken?

I guess I have just been lucky. My old C500 and 5600 never had a problem (ok, it's more of a rocker switch than a joystick, but...) and my SP5m is working just fine. Could there be a little spec of dust or dirt that's causing you problems? Try blowing hard around the joystick, or maybe use a can of compressed air to dislodge it. But be gentle. ;)
