I suck at T9

What I find annoying is that T9 is not the default input mechanism. Every time I go to pIE or any input text box (other than the email client), I have to switch the text mode to T9. Wish there was a way to make T9 the default.

BTW...I am pretty bad at T9 myself, I am slow but I am hoping that it will improve in time.
