I have had an SMT 5600 for the past 6 months and still love it. I am really tempted to upgrade to the 2125 for the speed (Edge), higher resolution camera, and WM 5.0.
Has anyone upgraded their SMT 5600 and do you think it is worth the price of the upgrade NOW? Why or why not?

I've had the SMT5600 for 30 days in January and upgraded to the 2125 before my 30 day returnn policy expires.

I love the 2125, better, camera, gorgeous screen and REALLY fast EDGE speeds (tested on dslreports.com i've got usually 190-220 kb )

I only wisht the phone had Wi-FDi

Thanks Auquaron. I'll take that as a resounding "yes" that the upgrade is worth it.

I got my 2125 a couple of days ago and it definitely was worth the upgrade. Man, the screen is so much better than the SMT5600. And I thought that was nice! I have had pocket pcs, pocket pc phones, regular cell phones, and the like and this really is the best one out there. This, paired with my bluetooth keyboard when I need it, is the best thing mobile, IMHO.

Shouldn't you be getting speeds faster than that ?
My SMT5600 gets 512 kb.

The 5600 doesn't support EDGE. So you really shouldn't be seeing speeds that high. I wonder if the speed test you're running is acurate?

Acharn

Can you share the source, brand, model of bluetooth keyboard that you use?

Thanks from a new user.

I made the switch, and I agree with everything posted so far. The screen, WM 5, and the speed are much better.

However, the 2125 has one glaring drawback that impaired its use for me - the joystick. It's much more difficult to use than the D pad on the 5600, and it tends to break. If you do a lot of Sudoku or other games, it's going to break on you.
