It is a tall order for developers and some have struggled to meet this challenging mix. Fortunately Ilium Software has not and their latest version of ListPro for Windows Mobile Smartphone is nothing short of brilliant. The new 4.1 version of ListPro has a wide range of features that can be highly customized to meet your needs including highlighting, strike through and a new simplified list creation wizard."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20060120-ListProCF.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br />I've always been a big fan of Ilium's software, but I have never spent much time with ListPro. What are your experiences with it? From reading Clinton's review, it sure sounds like a good tool to have. I'm off to download the trial version and give it a spin. :D

When I was using my C500, the Smartphone version of ListPro didn't allow true synching with the PC. You could manually copy lists from PC to phone and vice-versa, but not have the automatic synching you have with PC-PocketPC. Has this been fixed?

The problem here is that Microsoft has not included a folder/file sync conduit in Active Sync for the Smartphone - like they have with the Pocket PC. As such, there is no way to sync files to your phone "out of the box". I know, it's crazy and a huge source of frustration. I made this known repeatedly while I was at the last MVP summit.

Ilium, and a couple other companies have created their own sync engines to get around this. It should have come with the application. If not, it might be a separate download on their website.

That's how FlexWallet's sync mechanism works. However, I asked Ilium about this a few weeks ago and they said that I'd have to do a manual copy every time.

Oh, and Pop Tarts, ground beef and Dr Pepper... The breakfast of champions! ;)

And why I can't convince my wife of this is clearly a failure to communicate on my part. Being from Texas, beef and Dr. Pepper should be a part of any and every meal.

I have just installed the trial version. While I like the product, I don't think I will need the desktop version permanently (Excel will do fine). But the mobile version is good to have. I almost always come home from the supermarket forgetting one or two things.

One thing I like about ListPro is password protection. I put credit numbers and their lost-card phone numbers on the phone. Without password protection I sure wouldn't do this.

Yup, you can. You can also uses their app eWallet as well. They have a Smartphone version of it out as well. It does a great job as well.

My review of it will be out next Friday btw...

I sure hope they've fixed the icon bug. The last time I looked ( a week ago) it was still there. :(

Nothing against this software, but if you go to Handango and do a search for "list" programs you have about 6-7 to choose from. I'm not sure how many ways you can twist a list program. I just wish developers would start coming up with more "meaty" programs.

I'm using it now and works fine for WM5-SmartPhones. You have to download an updated SyncPro file for WM5 devices...but works flawlessly...love that QVGA screen

A number of us here are having problems with the icons not showing up in eWallet on WinMo5. What version do you have?

I love this product and I've used it for years on my PPc. I've finally taken the leap and purchased it for my 2125. I'm going to try to start leaving my PPc @ home.
