If you haven't tried it, try it. It's worth it. I particularly like the copy and paste feature; free-up memory is a good one also. You have to dig for the tools (see the Help File), but they are there along with lots of other cool tools.

Is it skinnable?

Not sure it needs to be; the application is not very visible; only show up when you hold the action button in for a couple of seconds, then you have access to the functions. Also, it only is active when not on the HOME page, sort of makes sense, I guess. It's in memory but only evident when on the Start Menu. Look for the time indicator in upper right hand corner, that means it's loaded and running. Read the HELP file, multiple times.

Version 2 was. So I assume that version 3 is too.

Here's a link to their web site http://xetranet.free.fr/xbar2/?project=xBar%202

I'm using version 3. Very nice. It's worth it for cut and paste alone!

I've got a TMo Dash.

Can anyone confirm XBar3 works with the landscape Smartphones like the Q and Dash?

There's no trial version, so I can't check it out before purchasing...

It works on the Q. However it has shown itself to have some memory leak issues. I ended up having to reboot my phone once a day because of it. Too bad because it is a handy little application. :(

Let me know what you find out (if you decide to try it). I have a dash too and am hesitant w/ no trial.

PS - How does the cut and paste work in xbar?
