Why can't I play .mpg files on my 2125 through windows media player?

it could just be that WMP does not have the codec needed to play mpeg files. now is it a regular vcd mpeg file or an svcd mpeg2 file? if its an mpeg2 file the reason why it is not playing is because i doubt microsoft included a mpeg2 decoder the phone. if its regular mpeg1 i would try to play the file using a different program like TCPMP (old betaplayer).

...you just need to go into the media player and have it scan them into the players library
