It appears there has been some improvement in WM5 and now it looks like more is coming. I'm am intrigued that OneNote may also be included though It would be pretty limited on a Smartphone if it was even offered.

i would bet that the Smartphone OneNote would be a viewer only although the desktop version does use simple wiki-like syntax so input could be pretty quick.

(although, with no digitizer, I'd have difficulty getting used to entering stuff on it)

I think with the convergence of devices, in time this wont be an issue. :)
