I also have it on my 5600. There is a trial or you can buy for $19.99. <a href="http://www.smartphone.net/smartphonethoughts/software_detail.asp?id=216">[Affiliate]</a>

Hey cool This is also one of my favourite apps. :!: The old version hasn't been working too good on the SP5m. I'll have to install this version. :D

I used to have the old version on my Pocket PC but I found that I just didn't use it that much. I'm seriously considering buying it for my Smartphone; the app just seems to fit with connected devices like it much better than with pseudo-connected Pocket PCs.

I was just reading someplace that NO SOFTWARE runs on the SP5m at all! NONE! :grinning devil:

I'm possibly the only person that got caught out by this - I was using Fizz Traveller for quite a while to get weather information. I was doing this because I thought that Fizz Weather (their weather-only product) didn't have the homescreen plugin, which was my favourite bit.

Well, just in case anyone else is in the same boat... Fizz Weather does indeed have the homescreen plugin, they just barely mention it anywhere. It also has the advantage that the 5-day forecast shows "Fri/Sat/Sun..." under the days, and not "11th/12th/13th" like Fizz Traveller does.

I've looked at using Fizz Weather, since that's the main focus of FT for me. However, I still use the conversion, alarms, world times and world weather features of FT. So, it doesn't make sense for me. 8)

Does anyone know if this is a free upgrade for owners of the previous version? I have 2.1 I think but can't find any mention if there is an upgrade.

Thanks,
John

But v2.1 costs $15 and v2.2 costs $20. So I could buy v2.1 and upgrade to the higher-priced v2.2 for free?

It would seem so if you can still get the old one.

If you could guess one site that changed overnight, which one would it be?

(hint: the old version of Fizz Traveller is no longer listed on it :? )

Nope. Fizz Software. I swear I saw the old version for $15 on there last night. Now there's only the current version for $20.

I wonder if anyone else caught that and took advantage.
