Motorola seems to have a number of "candy bar" style phones hitting the market lately, I was wondering if they would possibly revisit the MPx100 (link (http://www.mobiletracker.net/archives/2004/02/24/motorola_intros.php), moto pdf (http://www.motorola.com/mot/doc/1/1055_MotDoc.pdf))and revamp it for release with WM5. Possibly they could release it along the lines of the new Razr and Rokr style phones. Both of those represent a rather big change in cell phones and WM5 appears to be a massive change in cell phones... it could fit.

What do you think? They might as well add some wifi to it too!

I don't think we'll see it. It doesn't really fit in with what Moto is trying to do. They want new, original, and inspired designs. A plain old candy-bar just doesn't cut it anymore. At least, that's my take on it. :)

All Microsoft Smartphone based Motorola phones will go to the 'high end' in '05, '06 and '07. The designs supposed to have QWERT keyboard just like Moto Q, but with more powerful processors. I guess they would follow the Microsoft road map (Moto Q with Magneto in '05, 2nd generation with Crossbow in '06 and 3rd generation with Photon in '07, one phone a year). I bet you'll like what you see in late '06, I hate Moto Q though.

I have to agree with Mike.
