It makes sense to order the kit because downloading all the tools and SDKs will take long time. Also the download for Visual Studio 2005 (beta) that is required to develop applications for Windows Mobile 5.0 devices is only available to MSDN subscribers. This kit gives you a chance to play with the new development platform also. :-)
