Interesting dilemma. On my 5600 the longest I can set my backlight to stay on is one minute (or never turn off). The shortest time you can set the screensaver to start up is one minute. Right when the screensaver comes on the screen goes dark. If you hit a key so you can light the screen the screensaver ends. To sum things up you cant see the screen saver unless you leave the screen lit all the time on the 5600 anyway.

Maybe it's the Pocket PC, but isn't there a setting that allowed the screen to stay on while the device is charging? I can't seem to find it on my phone. (I guess that's a good indication that this was just a Pocket PC setting, eh?)

No unfortunately. Lets hope WM5 fills this hole. I may have found a work around for this though. I'll post something after I have tested it a bit more. :)

I can't help it but with my MPX220 I don't see the need for this.

Maybe they could write a version for the external screen :)

There's really no need for it on anything. It's just amusing to look at. :)

I wish they were more prompt about sending out registration codes. Still waiting.

Still no registration code and according to their forum, there is a problem entering the code on the Audiovox 5600.

Well, it is the weekend now. Did you just register it on Friday? You might need to wait until Monday. just a thought.

The reg code issue is a little concerning. I hope it's just a simple little problem.

How does it affect your battery time?

Good question, so far I have it disabled when on battery. However since I don't have a reg code STILL it stops after a minute or so anyway.

It's been 5 days. 2 emails. No reg code

Jerry, Who have you contacted - Timberland or Smartphone.net? I would send something off to Smartphone.net if you haven't already.

I've sent to both. Smartphone.net says they have contacted Timberland. Timberland says in their forum they have sent me one. I checked junk, spam filters, no trace. I know they aren't messing with me but this is just sloppy.

Ok this morning I got the reg code. I'm pleased but it took way too long. In addition I can confirm it does not work on my 5600. Pressing the softkey to enter the code does nothing. This is similar the the problem some had with Sprite backup and the scheduled backup. Pressing the key did nothing. I have sent another email. By the way this is a cool little screen saver. I hope they can make it work for us. I'll keep us updated here.
