Like the Firefly and Wherifone, the TicTalk has a limited feature set, restricted call list and many safety features. Because it's a LeapFrog device, it also adds in educational mini-games and a PIM functions not present in other kids phones. All phone numbers and information are entered in the phone using a web interface, and then transferred to the handset. The TicTalk not yet offered by any carrier, however it is definitely a GSM device and LeapFrog claims 100 minutes will cost $25."

It looks to me like LeapFrog has the leg up on the FireFly (pun intended ;) ) by offering some of their educational games built into the device.
