Bummmer if I had known about this earlier I might have gone this route instead. But hey i've got a god deal on my mpx and im happy with it :D You live and learn.

$390 for this one - and the only differnce I see is that it has the 850GSM band - is that really needed here in the USA? What do Cing/ATT &amp; T-Mo run on - is it only 900/1800/1900 - who uses the 850?

T-mobile and Cingulair in USA uses 1900 . For all other carriers, check out the following link:

cingular also uses 850 ... althought i'm currently using T-Mobile, i'd prefer to get one with 850 band vs 900/1900 in case T-Mobile is acquired by Cingular or i switch to Cingular.
