Two soft-keys, a "home" button (to turn back to the start display) and "back". They can seem uncomfortable to work with due to their narrowness. That is wrong; you'll get used to them at once and feel no discomfort. Below a row of specialized "musical" buttons is placed. The very first button calls a musical player (you can choose in settings which one). Three other buttons are responsible for the control of music reproduction (they process separately short and durable pressure, the result depends on it). You can't assign personal actions to musical buttons by standard means, so they can be used only for musical by default."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20050726-MobileReviewC550.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />There are some really nice pictures in this review, including some comparison shots the Samsung i300 and a couple of those Symbian based things. ;)

that was an amazingly imformed review.

the only thing that caused me to raise an eyebrow was

'Physically the screen is capable of 262K but shows 65K colours due to the OS constraints.'

'Physically the screen is capable of 262K but shows 65K colours due to the OS constraints.'

It's not the first time I've heard that. When I reviewed the Mitac Mio 8390 a while back, the screen was rated at 262K, but we were told the OS doesn't support it yet. :( I guess things haven't changed? :?

Does anyone know if this one feels plastic? Cause when I tried the Qtek 8100 it immediatly feelt plastic and I think they obth are basicly the same phone except for the outside.

No idea... In the review he talks about the nice metal construction. While it's similiar to the Qtek, this model has a much different screen. So there could be other things that are different too.. I wouldn't expect the outer body to be one of them.

I like the rubber cover over the power and headphone sockets. It gives the Smartphone a more refined look. And it doesn't look like a flimsy cover that you will lose on the first day.
