Those of us in Canada are already half way through our long weekend (we had Friday off - Canada's Birthday ;) ), and with Monday being Independence day, our US readers are just starting their long weekend. There's nothing like a long weekend in the summer time! I thought it would be interesting to hear what everyone has planned for the weekend.

I'm currently hanging out at the in-laws, watching a little of the Live 8 (http://www.live8live.com) on TV. (I will never understand why they choose Barrie over Toronto. We're going look like fools when they show only 35,000 people hanging out in Barrie, when they could of had millions in Toronto.) Tomorrow, my wife and I are going out to dinner and celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, it looks like we'll be pulling the kids along, and possibly their grandparents too. A nice private dinner would have been nice, but a big family dinner can be fun too. Oh, and yesterday we took the kids strawberry picking. I'll post a picture of the fun my son had in a reply to this thread.

So, while I don't have anything major planned, it will end up being a fun weekend all around. So what does your long weekend plans entail?

We are going to an Angel baseball game to watch the fireworks. We go with a group of friends and have a tailgate party before the show. Taking a motor home makes it easy to enjoy a large group of people and beat the traffic. Happy Fourth of July everyone!

Just back from a long ride. Mike that is a great looking man in the picture. Looks like most of the berries ended up outside than inside.
