Hey I was wondering if there was any GPS software available for my Audiovox SMT 5600?

Oh, well, there's lots of GPS software available for your phone. It's maps for your country that might be a problem. You might try also posing this question over on www.gpspassion.com if you don't get a lot of answers here. While not particularly smartphone oriented, they certainly are GPS/PPC/map oriented.

Pocket Streets works fine. Other than that, I have no clue... :D

Pocket Streets does not give accurate results in some areas (mine) so try before buying if possible.

Have you looked at Mapopolis?

I'm a fan of Mapopolis as well. As soon as I there is a Verizon smartphone whose screen can be read in bright sunlight it could be a winner for me.

I'm a believer in Mapopolis myself and run it on my SMT5600. I'm not sure how their Canadian coverage is though, so was hesitant to recommend it.

Since the actual maps are the same between the PPC and Smartphone version, you could ask at PPC Thoughts, or www.gpspassion.com about Canadian coverage.

Another nice thing about Mapopolis is you get the software for free and buy the maps. You can get trial maps that last for a few days. That way you can check out the whole thing without dropping a dime.
