This should be a new twist on an oft-asked question ('what software should I get?')

If you had $100 to deck out your smartphone (I'll be using an SMT5600), what would spend it on?

I'm almost certainly going to have to get PTab Spreadsheet ($30). It is my thought (hope) that a good spreadsheet program will actually allow me to develop my own simple little 'programs' (maybe a better word is 'solutions') that a commercial developer might charge $10-20 for.

I am also looking at eWallet Pro or the Iilum 3-pack (eWallet, ListPro, and some other program) for $45.

So as you can see, I've already blown $75 of my imaginary budget on two programs. I'd love to hear what other folks would do under similar constraints.

www.sbsh.net Papyrus. if you use calendar and tasks, this is a must.

Battery Pack Pro - gets the programs you use most up on the home screen where you can get to them. Probably other things that do this, but it happens to be what I snagged.

$17.95 Papyrus (http://www.smartphone.net/smartphonethoughts/software_detail.asp?id=1085)
$19.95 Ilium eWallet (http://www.smartphone.net/smartphonethoughts/software_detail.asp?id=1479)
$19.95 Sunnysoft Backup Manager (http://www.smartphone.net/smartphonethoughts/software_detail.asp?id=1481)
$4.95 AquaBlocks - PDAmill (http://www.smartphone.net/smartphonethoughts/software_detail.asp?id=575)
$14.95 John Cody's Alerts! (http://www.smartphone.net/smartphonethoughts/software_detail.asp?id=1445)
$12.99 Tweaks2K2 .NET (http://www.smartphone.net/smartphonethoughts/software_detail.asp?id=1298)
Total: $90.74 So there's even a couple bucks left over to grab another game or utility. Of course, your phone use could vary from mine. ;)

And if you live in the US get the free weather program from Connected Bits (connectedbits.com). I use e-wallet the most of any software that I've added and Papyrus next most. Smartphone notes is also very useful.

PTab is great, on par with Papyrus, but not some crucial for me so I didn't include it

eWallet is OK, but you get tied in because there's no easy way to get your data into another app if something better comes along (CodeWallet Pro, which I got free from Handango Giveaway)

ListPro is pants IMO, I'd save your money if I was you!
