Is it actually released? The notes about the Dell x50v upgrade to Win Mobile 5.0 say something about it being made available this fall...

WM5 was announced today and released in the sense that developers can get the SDK's and Emulators, and the community websites can start posting information about it. Actually "in your hands" release probably isn't until fall.

It's released today. Now you just have to wait for vendors to load it and ship the devices. Or test it on existing devices, build an updated ROM image and make that available. It will be a little while longer before any of us can get our hands on it. :)

I bet the Orange SPV won't get the upgrade :(

I've emailed Orange to ask for an official statement - awaiting their response now.

I hope the new Orange C550 comes with it. Actually I can't imagine it won't. :) Good thing my C500 purchase fell through so I can now get a device with WM5 on it. 8)
