The study, in Denmark, compared the use of mobile phones by people who developed brain tumours with their use by a control group of healthy people. The results, published in Neurology, show that by three measures — using a phone, using it frequently or using it over several years — there is no evidence of a link with the development of tumours. They also found that brain tumours, when they did occur, showed no tendency to be on the side of the head where the phone was typically held."</i><br /><br />Great! Another report saying cell phone use is safe. We've seen reports proclaiming cell phones cause cancer, and reports that say they don't. What makes this report special? It was funded by the Danish Cancer Society and is supported by the European Commission’s Fifth Framework Programme, the International Union Against Cancer, and the International Epidemiology Institute. Not a single mobile operator or manufacturer in that list.

I wasn't worried. I'm in more danger of hurting myself when my phone doesn't work than I am when it does work.
