Unlocking question

I just got a new Audiovox and I need to unlock it as well. Are there free services too, or just that one someone listed above? Is that the only service? Does it work well?

It works well - and it is not free. I am not sure if there are others, but you get what you pay for in certain situations and I believe that this will be a 38 dollars well spend (if you are using http://www.c500-unlock.com/ )

Thanks. Another question - once you unlcok the phone, do you ever have to unlock it again? Such as if you have to reboot the phone, or if you have a complete battery loss? And if so, do you have you use the same unlock code or do you have to buy it again?

No, you shouldn't have to unlock it again, but if you did, the code you used last time would work again. It's tied to the IMEI number on the phone.
