When i tried 2 put my activesync on2 another computer the prod. code was invalid...i called at&t-sent me to microsoft-they gave me 2 more codes that did not wk & told me 2 call audiovox. i work & their fone hours bite!!! Has any1 gotten past this?? Tanx! :roll: 8O

There is no product code for active sync. Just download a copy from the Microsoft site and install it. There is no registration, or product code required.

the 1 that came w/my fone has a code...so U'r saying just go 2 microsoft's site & get 1 w/out it!

Are you talking about ActiveSync or Outlook? Outlook requires a code for certain.

activesync, they said it was related to outlook-that is why it needed it?? I am confused-I just want to sync!!

If you have the SMT5600, then download THIS (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/downloads/activesync38.mspx) and start synching !

No, that's not all. Activesync has to have something to sync WITH. The only PIM Activesync supports is Outlook, which is why it's included with the package.

If you already have Outlook/Office version XP or version 2003 installed, just get Activesync. Otherwise, you'll need to get a valid CD Key from someone for your copy of Outlook.
