The lineup will feature 100 ringtones, including dialogue, the voice of C-3PO and the sound of a "TIE" fighter aircraft. There also will be nine video games, 50 animated screensavers, and about 200 "wallpaper" shots for a phone's screen. Cingular is a joint venture between SBC Communications Inc. and BellSouth Corp."</i><br /><br />More ringtones, more wallpaper, more carriers trying to get a people to spend just a few extra bucks a month. Nothing much new here, except that it's Star Wars, and thus, supremely cool. :-) I just happened to have finished watching Return of the Jedi on DVD the other day, and it sure looked nice in it's digitally restored glory. Some of the painfully obvious added scenes though kind of made me cringe though - it wounds my soul to see the cheesy blue dancer in Jabba's palace, and I nearly wept tears of pain when I saw the ghost of young Anakin at the end. Shame on you Lucas, all we wanted was the original movies on DVD! Wait, should this have been an off-topic post?

I actually didn't mind seeing baby Anakin at the end. I would have prefered to see the original movies without any of the added crap, but it's still a great story.

It won't be long now... May 19th is just around the corner.
