HELP WITH MY USED MPX200

I just recently bought a used MPX200. After I put in my sim card it sees cingular and I can call the cell phone and it answers but I can not get it to make any changes without an error code popping up and it will not show any numbers on the screen when I try to dial out. Also the computer does not see it when I try to do an active synk. Any ideas out there?

Did you try a hard reset when you got it? Turn off...hold down blue action key while turning on. See if that fixes things. What error code is popping up? What changes are you trying to make?

I tried the hard reset with my cingular sim card in the phone and bingo every thing is working great now. Thanks for the assist.
