The report, entitled "Integrated Handsets: Balancing Device Functionality with Consumer Desires," claims that some mobile phone users are willing to make sacrifices in terms of functionality in exchange for a device that marries the functions of a phone with another product, negating the need to carry multiple gadgets. As such, sales of so-called smartphones -- which combine the features of mobile phones and Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) -- will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 28 percent through 2009."</i><br /><br />Good read and yes good news but still the low percentage at present might explain why devices always seem to be lacking things. Do you think the current low percentage of smartphone users equates to phones lacking features we want?
