View Full Version : Where on my phone should I store ringtones and sounds?

I notice that everytime I restart my phone (turn off then on), I lose all the ringtones that I copied into the phones memory. I copy the files into the 'Windows' folder on my phone, but when the phone is restarted, they are no longer there. Am I storing the .wav files in the wrong place? If so, where do I store them so that I can use them for my alarms, ringtones, etc.?

Anything you put in the windows folder will be removed on a reboot.

You need to put sounds in /Storage/Application Data/Sounds
