Now the Release version available. However I have never been able to get the scheduled backup service to work on my MPx220. It still doesn't work with this release and I have never gotten a response from Sprite on my queries about this. If any of you MPx220 users try this let us know if it works.

I'd suggest you post on their forum but I never got responses. I even sent them log files. All I ever got was "we have never seen this before". Not too helpful. :(

does this software backup text messages? I really need a program that backs up text messages, call histroy and contacts.....i already used up my trial with jeyo mobile companion....so thats out of the picture, unless some can help me, you know what i mean ;). Any good apps do what i described?

Sprite Backup will backup your entire phone.

Just for sake of comparison, are there any other programs that will do a full/incremental backup of your Smartphone? I KNOW I'm going to do something to screw up my phone and will need to restore it.

Interesting issue. This version has a PC component to it, that will assist in moving the backups off the phone and whatnot. I don't know how that effects the install, and getting a CAB file. I would think they Sprite would supply you a CAB if you asked. You're still using the program, just not 100% of it.

Nope. Sprite is the one and only - as far as I know.

The only way to get to the CAB is probably to run the installer on a Windows machine..and then go to this folder on the Windows box...
C:\Program Files\Sprite Software\Sprite Backup for Smartphone
And look for the CAB file like SpriteBackup2_SP_M2MSP2002.STRONGARM.cab

This is not the best solution. Because if you have a Windows PC, you are better of installing ActiveSync on it and installing the app directly. ;-)
