MPx220 BT headset promotion

I don't know if I was one of the "lucky" 1000 to register my phone, or Motorola saw all my questions to tech support, but UPS showed up at my door today, and dropped off a little brown box. After accusing my wife of more mail-order purchasing, I realized it had my name on it. I opened it up, and to my surprise, a HS810 headset was in the box... only the headset, oh and the manual, but the headset never the less. Too bad a bought one on January 7th, :roll: oh well...

Anyone else been this lucky?

I got home late tonight from picking up my truck (new remote starter installed) and found a package waiting for me and of course I hadn't ordered anything lately and was surprised to find the headset and owners manual. Odd indeed, maybe Moto is sick of hearing from me on the MPx220.

I too was surprised when I saw the package outside my door. :D

But surprised that it only included the headset, no lanyard or the case or the charger (of course you can use the MPx220 charger).

Add me to the list! I'd completely forgotten about this promo and had entered it back in December when I saw it referenced here. Today the headset was in our mailbox!

Works out very well as I'd ordered the Jabra BT250 with my phone but my wife wasn't sure if she wanted a headset or not, so we didn't order one at the time we purchased her phone. Now she gets this one.

I'm serious people, if anybody wants to offload their extra headsets (and it sounds like they're abounding), then drop me a line!!!

I've have 5 MPx220's, but had the first 2 when they first came out, and the last 3 in this past month, so I completely missed the time period for registering and winning a BT headset! :?

But if you'd like to get rid of an extra one for super-cheap (just like me), let me know. :)

I plan to keep the second one. I have the SP3i and the MPx220. Planning to give my would-be one of them, so the second headset will go with that. :-)

I read about the Moto BT showing up at people's places randomly yesterday and today I went to my PO Box. There it was. I too have no idea how I got this thing? But can't wait until it's charged so I can start using it!
