Even so, Samsung finished 2004 on a weak note, with its fourth-quarter net profit falling 2 percent from a year earlier to 1.83 trillion won, or $1.76 billion. It said falling margins for its mobile handsets and weaker prices for liquid crystal displays hurt earnings in the fourth quarter."

I'm concerned that their fourth quarter was a little weak due in part to mobile handsets. :? Hopefully, this will motivate them to step up the design and features in future handsets.
